The Rocinha school prepares musicians to play carnival drum. The samba school islocated at São Conrado neighborhood, Rio de Janeiro. The drums school is led by the Master, experienced musician, who takes forward the work of forming and perfecting the rhythm of the samba school. The school also accepts new students and form new drummers. Everyone can be inscribed as a student at the school and learn to play an or more instruments that form the battery: - "surdos"; -"caixas"; "cuícas"; "repiques"; "tamborins";"chocalhos". Classes are held every Monday and Wednesday from 20:00 hrs, at the school of Samba (see address below). Battery Directos controls the execution, ensuring that everyone play the instruments correctly. Also makes sure that students go in straight line. One way of getting right to get sound perfect and that everyone is lined up straight. Already preparing for the march of the Carnival parade. All requirements are strict and the school needs to get grades from a group of technical judges. The techniques are taught at the school of drums. But students must have their instrument and practice at home as long as you can. Any student can learn everything about the instrument that will be played - If you have good coordination, concentration, discipline and willingness to learn the teachings of execution and also the theory. |
